 - NTC chip is sealed in glass tube with two lead wires for solder. With glass capsule, the thermistor is very stable and insulated. The operating temperature therefore can range up to 250 degree Celsius.
It is widely used in boiler, heater, oven or steam cleaner. Because the outer glass is very fragile, mostly it is potted in pipe as a strong protection. Two different lengths are available, including 4.2mm and 2.5mm.
