-NTC chip is sealed in glass bead with two lead wire for solder.Glass encapsulated, the thermistor is stable and insulated. The operating temperature therefore can range up to 300 degree Celsius.
It is widely used in boiler, heater, oven or steam cleaner. Due to fragile outer glass, mostly it is potted in pipe asbetter protection. The dimension of the glass bead can be 0.55mm, 0.8mm, 1.3mm, 2.3mm, and all are selective by how small the applied space will be.
